Cleaning my oven, anyone got any advice?

I can imagine it maybe softening it but steam surely will evaporate with the heat ?  So it will be dry heat not wet ?? 

Best course of action is degreaser applied directly onto hot surfaces. Thats how I oven clean. Both domestic and commercial

A tray if water in bottom of oven put on at 100 degrees for 20 minutes the dirt just wipes off 

I know that works in a microwave, I'll give it a go at the weekend ?

Can’t believe people spend their spare time doing this.

We windies earn good wedge, for the sake of about £60 why not let a professional who knows what their doing crack on with it while you make better use of your time

I know a great way to clean a microwave, squeeze the juice of a lemon into a dish and micro it for a minute. The vapor coats the inside of the microwave oven and makes it easy to clean with a cloth. ?
