Day rate for sub contracting?

Hi, my brother in law is a carpet cleaner and general handyman but is after more work. He has been offered two days a week working for someone cleaning windows in Pontefract. He's been a windy previously and does the odd day for me occasionally and is reliable, fast and does a good job.
They asked him what his day rate is (I'm assuming 8hrs) and I'm looking for the going rate to advise him.
He'd be working on his own using their van and equipment.
What kind of range are we looking at?

We have someone that does 9 consecutive week days for us. He's picked up and dropped off. He does about 7 hours a day and he invoices us £130 a day

£15 an hour now. £17 an hour after April. So £120 now, £140 after April.

This is based on local trades day rates by me. I know these from having my patio done recently.

Same as @Part Timer £130 -£160. a day it’s job and knock so sometimes it can be an early finish.

if you‘re using your own van ,tools,water fuel etc it’s got to be £150+ a day

A lot of people I know who sub contract domestic work do it on a percentage 60/40 or 70/30 depending what you can get.
