Got a few small jobs around the house that need doing. After that it’ll be looking for anything to do lol.
I can’t watch television/films during the day, doesn’t feel right.

I am gonna go out for a long cycle ride later today.

But for evening time, anyone seen anything good on Netflix or any film/series streamer recently? I emerged watched Shutter Island the other night, hadn’t seen it since it came out 10 years ago. It’s on Netflix. Fantastic film depending on your taste.

Today ive cleared the porch, and tidied the garage.

Got the firepit out for tonights dinner.

Tomorrow gonna wash the van and clean inside.

Friday paint the kitchen walls

Saturday + 29days gonna take full advantage of pornhub premium free membership for 30 days and w4nk myself stupid to midget porn.

In 33 days hopefuly it will all be over and i will go for an eye test ?????

I have a conny clean to do outside and the customer is happy for me to do it. I seen petrol at 102p a litre at Asda and it seems to be correct, I think it will go to a pound a litre. fwiw
A lot of diesel owners I know, wont use supermarket fuel. Its much cheaper than shell etc so makes sense. I had heard that the supermarket stuff can be bad in some way but be good to know for sure from an expert.

I did see it when it came out, but that was in the stoned days so didnt have a clue really.

I did 40k miles a year for 10+ years, driving newish Volvo S60, Audi A6 Quattro and a Jag XF and never had a problem.
I always used them for petrol but I'd been told not for diesel, but I cant see there'd be any harm or we'd hear more about it. yeh think I'll start using it.

I think it's more for the highly tuned petrol cars, most diesels will run on virtually any fuel oil.
I used to run a petrol Audi A4 bought it at 10 years old and ran it another 7 years. I took it in for Mot and it failed on the emissions test when my garage asked me what it ran I told them Tesco and they said brim the tank from a Shell or Texaco garage and  bring it back and put it through the test and it passed with with flying colours.

I was told cheap supermarket petrol comes via the Hook of Holland and is inferior to the more expensive Shell that is refined at Ellesmere Port.

From then on I ran it on cheap and filled it with Shell when the not was due.

I just had a read on some forum about it, quite funny reading but yes, im convinced. even a refinery/tanker bloke said they are exactly the same ( the basic ones)

Depends upon who starts/promotes the story. Negative reports by a 'chosen' public are a sneaky why of comparative advertising. In the UK advertisers are not allowed to compare others products negatively although you can compare your last model with the latest model. This is why we don't have Coke Vs Pepsi advertising wars in the UK like they do/did in America.

We have used Asda since the garage opened near us. Our fuel consumption on the old 2.0hdi van was the same as when using Shell and Asda fuel - 28mpg.

In the early days we had Morrisons and Shell. Over the years when we used Morrison's diesel the van's fuel consumption dropped from 28mpg to 24mpg. I always knew which fuel was in the tank when I drove up Saltburn bank with half a tank of water in the back.

The price of Morrisons fuel around here was just a few pence cheaper than Shell in those days. With lower mpg using Morrisons cost more on fuel than with Shell when considering price and fuel consumption.

Ah, strange. so they can contain different then? I may stick to the shell then. To be fair I dont often see vans filling up at tesco. Only bad experience I had was with Applegreen years ago, petrol car. Car just lost all power in middle of nowhere. had to get Rac out, happened again, ok after tank refilled with shell. The Rac man said he had attended other vehicles with the same issue who used Applegreen.

I spent 4 hours down the allotment doing fencing/avoiding the wife on her day off, down for near enough a full day tomorrow need to get potato sets in tomorrow and build some raised beds get onion and garlic sets in, then I have got a poly tunnel to put up and few other bits, I could easily spend the next 3 weeks down the allotment

I watched the BBC programme which tested both fuels. They are all the same and the performance unleaded is a waste of money unless you drive a Formula 1 car. So fill up at Supermarkets and save  yourself some cash. ?

This is old chestnut....all fuels have to comply with a BS standard - and it's tested by councils etc...think it's the fuels that they ADD stuff too that make the diff,  so they can charge you a handsome premium

Yes most supermarket fuels don’t  have the additives that  branded fuels do in particular detergents to stop the injection system gumming  up

Watched the BBC programme and it tested all the different type of fuels and stated they are all the same. I think that used to be the case but not anymore. BP, Shell and Esso would have sued the BBC for stating that the fuel was exactly the same but they didn't so that tells me that they are exactly the same. Try and download the program it was very interesting. ?

I had injected problems with one of my vans only that vehicle was filled up at Asda all the time , it needed 4 new injectors the garage that did the work said you have been using supermarket fuel haven’t you ?. Yes I said he said that they see it all the time with vehicles that use that type of fuel , never happens with branded fuel , since that time we haven’t used Asda again and have never had any other issues with any of my vehicles so I dint know if he is right but it certainly made scene
