The Reach2Clean one has a flue & looks decent. Does anybody have a refillable LPG bottle & know how it compares in price to refill v getting normal LPG bottles from Calor etc?

Well, the normal propane tanks can be bought in many places. I get mine in the garage I buy my van diesel. Where can you fill the other ones.

One you go down the none portable route and start using fixed LPG tank systems it starts to get complicated as you can't just turn up at a LPG filling pump with just a refillable tank to refill it as you have to have a properly fitted LPG system inside the van with an outside LPG filling port.

You can have an external LPG filling port fitted to your van and with the correct connections, you can the fill your gas tank/bottle which is secured in the van.

That's what I said...but you just can't fill any old gas tank/bottle as has to be the right type to do so.

Indeed & Reach2Clean supply & fit the whole lot. I spoke to them earlier they fit the filling port for the LPG on same side as your fuel cap /emoticons/wink.png

hi guys i bought one of these little chiwanese stainless units off ebay for £90 and its been great, its exactly the same as the reach2clean unit but cheaper, i dont bother with a flue as i just leave a door open, im using a 19kg propane tank and its last a fair while.

anyone thinking of getting a hot water system i would definately recommend one as it just changes the work so much,less scrubbing less time and better cleaning and more water saved!

having got both the ecotemp and the ameny heaters i'd go for the ameny-more flashy lights although it does the same job as the l5 and at least with the ameny you can fit a flue to it.cheshire,that tank is bolted down?
