I might stretch to the SLX 25 then, thanks for the heads up on the bumper brush trim. Do you use Gardiners scraper tool for bird $h!t? I live quite close to the sea and they are everywhere.

I don't use a scraper on the upper floors so can't advise on this sorry. My method is soak any muck and move on and come back to it. Not a major problem in mid wales.

I have seen it discussed on here before though so you will find out how others deal with that problem. I sèem to remember a discussion on the best brush to remove the salt deposits as well. There's loads of great info on here if you look back far enough!

 
I got a gardiners scraper it's ok but I have found like Steve said wet the bird mess up move on then come back and it comes off easy. The scraper didn't really save time that much time and their a small risk of scratching the glass.

You mustn't get seagull  :1f4a9: Without a scraper I'd be on 30 minutes on the bad ones.
