PUMP PROBLEM!!!!!!!

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Whats the news on the pump issue.

When you read through the post it sounds like a wind up, but I'm sure its not.  Its a pressure issue, no its an airlock, get the kettle on it, suck it, blow it, disconnect it, drives you loopy having issues.

Hope all is well?

Hi, totally forgot to post back onto here! It was the actual pump had everything apart, water was going in but none coming out, ordered and fitted a new pump and working perfect.

Thanks

Thanks to everyone that replied and gave me a hand, I really appreciate it! Finally found the problem, was the pump not letting any water out. Ordered and fitted a new one and works perfectly... Thankyou everyone

just run your pump on full and keep disconnecting and connecting the hose on the side of your reel..itll be sorted within a couple of mins..if that doesnt work keep it running on full while connected and drive the van and brake suddenly a few times...thats ll do it.....

Sorry I'm just seeing these new posts about face-lift system pump problems, symptoms were exact same as mine and was away to say you need a new pump guys, I should know Hahaha, I think the cold snap was what got to mine so advise if you can, to put a heater on at night, it can't be no coincidence that 3 face-lift systems with streamflo pumps all went pretty much during the cold months ?

what annoys me about some of the window cleaners on here is they dont have the courtesy to post back when they solve their problem to let other window cleaners know its fixed.......
Couldn’t agree more their is several that have asked me things and not even a thumbs up ?

courtesy costs nothing.

personally I’m always thankful and appreciative to anyone that inputs any info that I require.

Never seem to get any feedback on pricing advice. Don't expect people to tell us the exact price but easy to say I got towards the top end of advised prices or, more importantly, what they quoted and didn't get it at.

I like how people come on desperate for help then don't come back,  it's defo a bugging for most of us who readily help anyone who comes on here at anytime.

or the guy who wanted a gutter vac and would pay cash, gutter vac sold in the meantime and he ain't been back on ?‍♂️

Thanks for the advice gents. Tried everything suggested and still got no where. In the end I took the pump apart and cleaned everything (as per the link below if it helps anyone) and hey presto it worked ??.

I think there's a mixture of reasons why we often don't hear back after giving advice.

Sometimes it is just "im alright now." and they don't have the courtesy to let us know.

Sometimes they are just so relieved to be sorted and they crack on without any ill intent to not update us. It just goes out of their minds. They will probably have been quite stressed and also running late with their setups or their work.

Other times they might think we don't need feedback as we know all the answers. How wrong that is!? There's always something to learn and their feedback adds to the pool of knowledge. ?
