I am aware of what the Eastern manufacturers do to maximise profit. This is the price of doing business with them and quality control has to be checked on every order but that actually is beside the point. I was in electronics retail for many years and at the end of the day the end purchaser is dealing with YOU the retailer not some faceless manufacturer and they expect (in fact it is their right) to get what they paid for and with all the expectations that your marketing has promised. The reason why the large chains have the 'replacement no questions asked for 2 years' is because they buy in bulk and carry huge margins to negate this potential problem.Or the manufacturer has altered the rubber for more profitIt's not uncommon
