shoulder injury

WCF

Help Support WCF:

that will do more damage in a small area like your shoulder injury . ok for bigger muscle areas to use as a Massager Physios use similar
I doubt it, when I had issues with my right shoulder years ago the physio used to dig his fingers right into the front of my shoulder around the socket area and a fitting on the above works the same, I am careful not to overdo it just 5 minutes a week on a low setting

Hey all,

Has anyone else experienced pain in their rotor cuff from using the WFP? And if so, what did you do to combat it? I started strength training a year ago which helped massively with my leg pain, but more recently I’ve developed pain in my right shoulder/rotator cuff. (It’s not sore all the time but feels tight, if that makes sense).

I’ve now gotten a Xtreame pole, which has helped massively, but if I need to use the Supermax or even just add a couple of extensions to the Xtreame, the pain comes back. I’ve just ordered Xtreame pole extensions to replace my slx extensions. Only works out to about a bag of sugar difference in weight, but hoping it’ll make a difference.

Looking for advice/ideas. Next step will have to be drop high jobs, which is frustrating as I have a good number of them. Then if that doesn’t work I’m looking at a new career ?

Buy a massage gun machine of amazon works a treat for me. Around £50

i went for the extreem when it first triggered off around 9 month ago . plenty of stretching and a small microwave heat pack continuously used after work and more stretching. it improved. im a regular gym goer from teens i maybe still think im 25. very light shoulder work etc . ive stopped Facia cleans unless via ladder if easy. back to my stretching and heat pack . off today waiting for virgin media . it apears all old phone lines are being phased out . the connextion box you plug your phone in . They stick an adapter in your router now then plug your cable into that.

Back to my stretching
So you still have to pay line rental? Our package is with VM and we pay line rental.

So just got off video call with Physio (get two consultations a year provided as part of my life insurance, so thought may as well try it). Guy seemed to know what he was on about and gave me exercises to do when I’m in gym. Thinks it’s probably not damaged yet but just needs strengthened. Will report back how it goes!

If it works please share the exercise with us as this is becoming more common good luck

my soreness is not too bad now. started putting ice packs around my shoulder when im back home . seems to have eased off a bit .
gym . shrugs may have triggered it off . must remember to avoid certain movements . just lighter weight . cant stop going to the gym . its part of your lifestyle if you have been going from a Teen.
still doing the said stretching .
Hopefully this year i will take time off longer than normal.

Ice packs and Ibuprofen is always a good starting point for any inflammation type injury.
Remember to warm it up before you start in the morning
