ive a 3600 psi 21lpm 14hp loncin washer ,its very powerfull and speeds up jobs,im using a telescopic lance i got from jetmac , they have an ebay shop i think it was around 150. one thing is dont blast to close as it can damage the soffit and guttering very easily , i normally only use it on detached houses and bigger houses as doing the small mid terrace ones can be done quicker by wfp and a chem
None on still searching for a decent one on the bay of e as the rac unit would take forever lolwhat spec washer are you using cns
gutter vacs are good they just take a bit of getting use to I struggled with mine at first but after making some different nozzle for it ( angled, crevice and a angled crevice just cut a section of pipe down rather than spending £35 a nozzle) and adding a camera its spot on now takes me about 15-20 mins to do a semi detachedI have 2 powerwashers, both Honda 13hp one with a Cat 66 pump (4000psi 18lpm) brilliant for every job , pump is 6 years old and gets used 3 to 4 times a week , change the oil in engine and pump once a month and its ultra reliable , quality gear.
My other Honda has an Interpump pump, use this for drain cleaning as its very powerful 21lpm 4000psi , engine is 7 years old and never missed a beat, pump is 2 years old and oil is changed monthly regardless of use, had a comet pump on it before which i rebuilt and keep as a bolt on spare in the van.
Couple of tips with these powerwashers, always carry a spare plug and recoil unit , basically look after em they look after you
I have a 21" whirlaway, only use it on large flat concrete jobs, not good enough on lockblock, you cannae beat a turbo nozzle and resanding it for client, bought i extendng lance and its sat in shed since years , makes more mess than its worth, too whippy and breaks your back , dont like em
My fave bit of gear is my turbo nozzles , you just got tae have 2 or 3 in your van lol , for gutters i get on ladders , tried the gutter vac and resold it , just not clean enough for me and my clients.
Was thinking of making a trolley with a little Honda engine and a pump. What like?
