I’ve done this but fortunately the car park was empty as we used to clean it at 5 in the mornin for the safety aspects mentioned. Was an 80 and not a 90. Completely wrecked the top two sections and the brush which my old boss wasn’t best pleased about. I stupidly left it unattended whilst sorting the hose trying to save time and a slight breeze caught hold of it which is usually the cause of most accidents. We live and learn. If one is contemplating doing windows at 90' then make sure you have good insurance. Don't fancy dropping a pole at that height especially in a carpark full of cars!
I also don’t like the sound of it. I have no experience with cleaning over 40ft but i would be thinking of a mobile crane? Surely unless you’ve got a hot water system, cleaning off a pole from the ground at this height wouldn’t give great results when it comes to bird poo etc? I struggle with bird poos at 35ft.Very sorry but I can't actually believe someone comes on here asking for advice how to clean up to 90'. If you don't know how to do it safely I suggest you walk away from the job.
SimpleI'll get them a price for the full thing which looks like it would require both abseiliers and a boom lift. And also the price for having up to 6 floors done by pole and let them choose.... Knowing these student accommodation places, they'll go for the cheaper option ?
We got there in the end! Thanks Phil, that's the kind of advice that's needed!Simple
Cherry picker, pole from the basket. That is what every one else does, myself included.
Make sure you factor in all the costs.
Good luck.
Yes as long as you have RAMS and Insurances to do it from a MWP. Surely the company looking for quotes need all this information before you can actually quote themSimple

Not necessarily. There's no point doing all that prep work If they don't like the price. We've worked off cradles at 100ft before (and had all that in place of course) and after the work was completed they asked for paperwork. And these are multi million pound companies Haha.Yes as long as you have RAMS and Insurances to do it from a MWP.
