He looked at that web link diy water fed pole and said what an amateur job..think I might get a good bit of kit if I work with him on it

I am one of those sad individuals who enjoys it anyway

On my own no one to answer to

what's a bit of rain anyway??

yeh i do enjoy it but if i had money....i am one who would be quiet happy just to sit and watch tv..

the best bit about this job....is xmas time for me...i finish as soon as i can and my record is two and a half weeks going from bed to chair....getting really annoyed at my half hour in the bathroom...i know most would go mad but....oh i like it..

i do like the challenge and the rain can be a challenge....will it wont it....i struggle to finish off houses soaking wet but am now wondering if that will be as hard with the wfp..../emoticons/biggrin.png

I will work in all weather

a couple of numptys moan.."don't do it in the rain" so I go back when it's dry clean em and then it rains..idiots

we were born with waterproof skin so I don't see the problem

yep great attitude daveyboy1...i dont go out if its forecast real bad as i have plenty of jobs to do at home but if i have started as the saying goes i will finish...

i do like the way its great to do it on a sunny day and yet the next day its going to chuck it down all day...its all in their minds i suppose..

Miserable days cam be more productive

no need to rush like a madman to get the water off before it dries

yep i miss that do a full bay and wonder back its been a real swine of late ..i have to do one window at a time at the mo .../emoticons/biggrin.png

the only drawback is ...i aint had a break for months...and my garden looks like a jungle...

Speaking of B&Q, you can pick up cheap 1 metre poles. I got one myself as I have a few awkward windows that just need a little extension for the squeegee, but anything longer or heavier would be difficult to handle. The cheapo one can just be used one handed, and its only a few quid.

ahh two top tips....so b and q it is ...as there is no asda near here...yeh i could do with a short pole...and now i am addicted to the microfibre...must stock up...

yep many a day the custy has said do you want a drink and i have said no thankyou as i have a nice cold beer waiting for me at home...mrtaytay is our resident alcohol expert...he has quaffed a few in his time....
mind you ...if mrs j gets the wine out at 11.30am it would be rude to refuse...hic ...hic

Mrtay Is quaffing his homebrew as we speak after a 8am to 7pm session on the windows.....then straight Into his allottment......knackered and thirsty.

stop making me feel guilty as i sauntered off to work at 11...oops.....but i stayed out til 5.30...still makes me a wimp...

i must find out what you got growing down on the allotment.....yeh cant wack a nice cold home brew...me on strongbow tonight but running low on supplies...must get into this home brew again.../emoticons/smile.png

I am off on me hols next week cnc, so the preasure is on to try and catch up....aiming for being just three weeks behind rather than 4 !. think its coming to crunch time with my round....just got way too many customers. Got a new batch of ale conditioning at the moment....st peters ale.....cant wait to try it. Only got 40 pints of my golden ale left....feeling a bit panicky about that lol.

Very true....even our homemade apple jam has fermented. Its lovely, but too risky to have It on a weekday morning....tastes like brandy!

Rhubarb wine Is one of the best....got four batches of that on the go. Ya cant beat getting rhubarbed !

Rhubarb wine done properly and left to do it's business for a few months tastes like a dry rose wine..I bet if people didn't know what it was they would think it was a good wine

Anything with starch in it I will try..pea pod wine.parsnip.just need to make a still for the potato wine..lol
