If they were done regularly, I would just charge a days labour at £150. But since they've been neglected for 2 years I would take it up to £230 to make it a good days work.

at least we veered back on topic..we need a special off topic area as i want to know a lot more about how you lot do this home brew stuff....

and mrtaytay...its all right to scrape the white stuff off jam and carry on eating it ..isnt it....i hope.... well i survived as that was yesterday...

i gonna have excess pears coming up soon....and i know from last year they dont store...

not that i am being nosey tolish and you can pm if you want ...how many hours constitutes a day for you and ....how many times do you have a break in them hours....sounds a bit nosey but its just so i can get earnings up in your region as they aint there now....£75 ,,,six hours...no stop....:eek::eek:

that days labour figure sounds the same as my friend peter the handyman...but...he does start at 8.30 ish...and not the 11 am like me yesterday...oops..

he stops for an hour at 12 ish...and finishes about 5 ...just trying to set myself a target..but ...you aint getting me workin the weekend:rolleyes: i gotta keep posting....

and mrtaytay have a good holiday ...you deserve it...me....i hope to get loads done at home...

suppose you could look at £2 per window...and gauge how long you reckon to clean that window and add a bit on for all them little darlings greasy hand prints.. i used to have one on patio doors...wtf...did that kid have to eat...took me ages to get it off..and it was first floor ..behind railings...

told wife to find out what they paid last time

wife just text me £1000

I think someone was seriously ripped off:eek:

Inside and outside job..even then £2 a window and same again inside only makes 240 quid

would bump that up a bit but not by £740

She just told me it was the caretaker who did it last time and he took 2 weeks and charged a grand

milked that a bit didn't he

wow insider info great....hmmm yeh me thinks a few too many tea breaks...i watched a handy man recently painting fences...obviously on a day rate...yawn...:Dstill gives you some elbow room...remember....make sure you price it a bit above what you think because it probably will take you longer...loadsa room for maneuver there though..hope you get it ...and try and get it a bit into the summer hols when not too many :specs about...get your music on and off you go...

mind you if the price is right and the job done well as i am sure it will be...you may get it every year....

Wow.

Well that's easy then. Just quote £700 and you'll be laughing. Everyones a winner.

It wouldn't take more than 2 days with the insides and have holiday from other job in school hols

gonna go for £600 not bad for 2 days work

will see what happens as it's my missus who told them they need cleaning again and head said you're right they do

so she may have just created me a job..lol

Windows that haven't been cleaned for a year then I don't blame the caretaker for charging so much myself. He must have been cheaper than other quotes to be given the work in the first place surely?

You're running a business not a charity:D

I have seen the windows as I have been there..my son used to go to school there..not more than 2 days work with the insides I think maybe 2.5 to be safe

500 quid a day is a bit much to ask for unless I drag it out while I am still quiet

all ground floor just walk round
