fitted it all in today and went in easy enough, still got a few jobs to do but its up and running and works a treat.

comes in at £300 too.

pump and controller £70

400 ltr tank £70

2 x di bottles £65

hose reel £50

wiring, connectors battery clamps filter etc £40

already had a battery laying about just need to get a split charger!

not included the poles or resin!

Nice one.../emoticons/wink.png

Now best get a frame made for that tank & bolt it through the floor before it crushes you to death./emoticons/biggrin.png

Good job! So with your particular setup is it "normal" water in tank, pumped out to the DI's and then to your hose/pole?

Just trying to figure out the best way of going about it myself at the moment...

the 3rd pic is just the tap coming out the size of the tank, i just took loads and uploaded them lol, need to take a pic of back doors open with everything in!

yes smurf i certainly do, on the to do list with split charger and under bumper filling port from tank.

cleanz

yes i just fill the tank and them pump it through the di,although im only running one di at the mo ive got a second ready to go in when the ppm starts to rise.

ive done this as i dont use a lot of water at the mo and my ppm is only 70 in my area!

hopefully they last a while as i dont really have the space to do ro setup.

I've not topped it up yet pal, filled it half way then did a few of the family's homes inc my van to get used to the setup and see how it went and have to say it's been great not one leak yet!

Cheers guys it's an Peugeot partner, lends itself quite well actually with passenger seat easy folding up to place the battery underneath too!

The tank just fits in between the sidewalls as they curve into the roof, the 400 is not as wide as say a 3-350 tank but is taller which gives me more room in the back too although I need to secure it properly!

mate i dont know if youd get a 500 in the back of a partner if its the same height and length as the 400 as its a really tight fit where the roof curls in, i dont think the partner would like 500 litres too, ive filled mine up to around 300-350 and the van looks slightly lower already!

duncs check out the diy trolley build page theres plenty of info on there, really easy to make and paid for itself in a few jobs, cost me about £100-120 to build.

A flat 500 would fit,and that's if tho;)

not much else,my pug struggles up a good hill when 350 tank full,so may need to upgrade van aswell

heyho......it all deductable /emoticons/smile.png :)

lol mine struggles empty being an old non turbo diesel but its reliable, great on fuel and only cost me £400 so if i get a year out of while building m round i'll be happy with that!

hey Smurf does an unbolted tank is something to worry about ? cos I use a strong belt only , to keep in place and also ive made a wooden "shoe" around the tank and I thought is safe enough ?! shall I consider a frame better ?

Another question - does the tank lid normally leak a bit when the tank is full ? I blocked the vents in the lid with a glove and also added a 3mm rubber gasket all around but still I can see water dripping when full : (

Sdrah. A couple of things I notice in the pics. That belt is way too weak, a ton at most? What is it fastened to? Pump is upside down, if water leaks, it'll get in the electrics. Pump is too high? Should be as low as poss, ideally in-line with the outlet. It's got a lot of sucking to do to get the water up there. Plastic bag covering the tank hole will stop it leaking.

the middle part of the bulkhead has a kind of strong metal beam (at least it looks strong) - I just can't figure out how to fasten the tank differently ...

And thanks for letting me know re pump i will turn it the other way and it will be fixed down near the floor .

Thanks very much
