Apologies if this is a stupid question but I'm currently running a 350L pure freedom system that's DI only. My Resin costs are quite high so I'm looking to bring my tds down to try and make the resin stretch further. Would this sediment filter attached directly onto my hose pipe make any noticeable difference to the tds going into the tank?

When I switched to wfp over 11 years ago I had an R/O because my tap tds at it's max is around 75ppm then after some years I thought it would be a whole load easier just going DI I quickly discovered after a few months it wasn't and resin back then was going to cost me £320 a year, So I went back to an R/O.

The very best place to buy one is https://daqua.co.uk/ro_systems.htm  don't be tempted to buy a cheap one off eBay or somewhere else as they aren't up to the job, Now I work on my and use around 350ltrs a day so I have a 450gpd which at the moment due to the weather being no so warm takes around 8 hours to produce 300ltrs and a few years ago it cost me less than £200 from Daqua but money wise longterm an R/O works out a lot cheaper
