I bet you did lol while I was spunking literally thousands of pounds trying to pack someone half decent.
Lol in year 2006-2008 i was top 10 richest but it was annoying as when the season ended and u had to start all again , it was like collecting merlin football stickers back when i was in primary school lol

I will hold my hands up and admit I might have been wrong when a situation warrants it and I admire you coming on here to say your piece, I apologise for being so harsh with my words as I suppose you're right that I didn't know the full extent of the story hope you're doing better for yourself mentally now
Massive respect to u for that mate i wish u and your business a lot of success in the future πŸ‘β€οΈ

@Windowcleaningfleet well done for updating things. My sincere condolences to Andy's family and hope you are feeling 100% asap.
I realise you may not be able to for legal or health reasons but I think it would be good for the forum to understand the h&s investigation outcome. I mean, did they say they believe tanks should be in a decent frame bolted through the floor or did they say strapped in using the tie downs was acceptable? I have no knowledge of how your vans where setup just trying to find out what the h&s suggested the rest of us should do regarding tanks?
Thanks for any light you can shed on tank securing and h&s.
Cheers

Back to Pakistan? I was born in the UK mush , i probs got more of a british accent than u mate😜 lol
Lol just what I was told by a mate who lives up there in Fishburn. Doesn't matter to me where you are from lad. Fair play for coming on and explaining things and I'm sorry at everything that happened, for the lads family and yourself. There is usually more to a story than meets the eye and that's why I didn't speculate on anything to do with what happened in the accident or after. But apologise I got my facts wrong about you leaving the UK.

There is talk of the banning of vehicle modifications, as they are trying to do in Europe. (Suspension mods, brake mods, engine power upgrades, etc.)
Government is also trying to remove old bangers from the road, so they want to implement to what extent repairs can be carried out at MOT. For example, what extent that welding up rust areas in old cars can be allowed would relate to the cars value. In other words, the wife's Xsara is valued at Β£250 for insurance purposes, so any major rust repair would cost much more than the car's worth. So the MOT inspector must list the car as scrap. If the car failed emissions, and it was due to a new catalytic convertor being needed, then the cost of the repair would cost more than the value of the car, and should be scrapped.
I guess this is all related.

The investigation outcomes etc are all online - some 1 made a post of it :)

When i had spoken to the officer she did state that they are looking to bring a law in to place as there has been a few accidents of similar case and a system with a frame and bolts through the chassis is the way to go 100% i do not know when they plan to bring the law out but i know its in the works for the future, u could be the best driver on the road with the same skill set as Lewis Hamilton but all it takes is a fault from another user on the road and u can be involved in a nasty accident.
@Windowcleaningfleet you weren't 22 years old when you were still been a πŸ””πŸ”š on here at 33 years old you ain't changed much with your cockiness,

You remind me of Scottish you should get pally with him because if you take ownership of the forum you'll need him to bring it back from the dead like he did so many times in the past.
If people respect me i respect them back, if people be odd with me i be twice as odd back, thats how it is . i dont care who i remind u of cos to me you are a nobody to me, your just a username on a forum to me hope that helps Mr Iron Giant.

And thanks for your input regarding the forum but @Gavin needs to message me back first if he wants to sell it, or he can tell me its not for sale if he doesnt want to sell, had no reply from him as of yet.
Or maybe u can prompt him seen as your a moderator/staff member on here and help me out? Message me if u wanna help me out and ill have a brown envelope ready 😁

Ok so how were your vans setup? Did they have professionally installed, crash tested tank frames, the golden standard in the industry and something that has been shown time and again to be the vastly safest option?

You see, the law often takes a long time to catchup to reality. I remember a few years ago there was a big deal about β€˜upskirting’ being made illegal. And it eventually quite rightly was. But anyone with any sense of morality already knew it was disgusting and wrong, the law didn’t need to tell them that.

My point is, not to point fingers, but if a person already knows ratchet straps aren’t a safe way to transport a water tank, but chooses to do it, then there are questions regarding mortality that need to be addressed.

My first van was a small pug partner with a 350ltr tank with 2 ratchet straps and then i went upto 650ltr with 2 ratchets straps in transit(standard) I then added further vans with the same repeated system,

Window cleaning license doesn't work as the council don't enforce it anymore, when my renewal came in last year, I questioned if it was true that the council no longer go out doing spot checks. They said that was correct, if anyone wanting to report anyone then you call the police and they will come out.

I said so it's just a yearly donation then really as if you think the police have enough time to look for an unlicensed window cleaner but don't have enough time to attend house breaking then your on cloud cuckoo land, told them il start paying it again when its actually enforced.

If bought the forum u would not see my presence or anything i will be long gone - and the only forum change will be only advertising/marketing and a rise in new members and more posts, ill be signing of here in the next day or so...

And your post is very cheekyy just remember mate... combine all my accounts and im the number 1 poster on here... easily over 15,000 posts combined πŸ˜‚ lol show some respect to the WCF top poster πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ haha

Number one poster maybe numbers of posts but it’s the content that’s important not the number of posts reading the last few you have put up nothing of value in any of them , just insulting senior members .

55% wfp systems - use ratchets - need education and awareness
But you are one of these that must have known it wasn't safe. Ignorance is no plea in law and the fact you allowed your "best friend" to drive around doing your work in an unsafe van makes you complicit in his fatal accident. Any claim otherwise falls on deaf ears as far as I'm concerned.
You were making money, because of this and he, unfortunately, paid the ultimate price. The fact you suffered with your mental health is a guilt conscience reaction and, again, your attempts of garnishing sympathy by portraying yourself as a compassionate victim falls on deaf ears.

You could tell that by the amount of tripe that’s been posted on this thread already. The guilty (and liars) talk a lot.
