I think we have had a polite winter so far, moved my customers twice because my lines got frozen OOPs.. I have been eyeing up those hot boxes but can not justify spending £3,000 plus just for hot water & to me at least an immersion heater seems like a desperate move that would not do as well as the hotbox. seems like a money scam to me... I will however be getting a camper shower and gas bottle as it's cheaper and seems more realistic to run hot water... yes i will still need to take my hose reel inside overnight and drain the shower unit, but i'd rather do that than waste thousands on a hotbox that is not worth more than £1000, hell i may even attempt to make my own hotbox at this rate, either way Don't shoot, i am just a window cleaner/gutter cleaner

Been there,done that and nearly ended up setting fire to my van....do NOT get a cheap LPG shower heater...its not worth it....they're dangerous

I don't regret getting my diesel heater at all despite the price.its fantastic but you could fit an immersion as a cheap alternative.it won't be as good or as convenient as a diesel heater but you ll have warm water for the colder days.
