It’s 0 degrees currently, getting up to 2oC at noon. There’s no snow or frost at all. But a little bit of a breeze. No way I’m working In that. ? ?
Wouldn’t even let a stray dog walk in that Lol.

I worked yesterday afternoon, and on the last job of the day I got chatting to the customer for a few minutes, I came back and the gooseneck & all down the outside of the pole had frozen over. Never had that happen before to me. Windows were drying fine but the pole was freezing up? I did a tds check on the water in my van when I got home it was 3oC.

Pump port frozen over so no shining for me today.

Got a few gutter jobs booked In but not sure the gutter vac will fight through the ice.

Thinking about calling it untill Monday and putting another few logs on the open fire ?

Do that, mate! Throw a few more logs on the fire. Put the kettle on. I'll sign your time sheets for the rest of the week. ??

Have decided to take most of the week off, glad I did.... went to get something out of the van today and the door opened ok, but wouldnt shut! The mechanism had frozen in place, took a few mins of warming and moving it about to finally get the door to latch. Dont want to have to do that all day at work.

I’ve not been out so far this week. I contemplated it yesterday but the hose-reel had frozen in place. Today the van was booked in to have some work done on it, this evening into tomorrow it’s saying expect overnight temps of -8. It’s looking increasingly likely I won’t be out this week at all.

Too many untreated roads everywhere here in Kent. Too risky working so I've taken the week off.

Had to pull a car out of the snow that got stuck yesterday at the local country park!

Off for the week. Luckily my round management software is Squeegee, so I can just shift my entire schedule forward a week. Means the customer will be a 5 week and 9 week gap this time but I'm pretty sure they won't fret about it. Have left the tube heater on low in the van to stop everything freezing up.

Feet up, kettle on, bit of bird/snow photography and play some online darts. Footy was cancelled last night, hopefully our game against St Albans is on this Saturday ??⚽?

Snowing hard here at the moment!

I’ve taken the week off. Not much snow but temperature only at or above 0c for a few hours each day. Next week temps up to 8c so will go back Monday.

Worked yesterday & strangely today was warmer but had problems with pole hose freezing inside pole, crazy! Had to leave it in the sun then was fine for a bit then froze again. Happy to be home now. Gonna leave it until Monday now it's just tiring battling it

No way working in 0°

I was tradding in 2011 when it got to -13 the night before.

Been -3 all day here for 2 days and got all my work done.

The first section did freeze a little but as I can't stand wearing gloves I just run my warm hand up and down the frozen bit to defrost it.

Blimey lol! That’s commitment!

Yeah of course I worked today. Got up to 3.5 here for a while in the sun.

Perfect cleaning weather???

Whereabouts in the states are you?.

Do you not put an oil filled radiator in the van overnight?

Nothing frozen and van nice and warm this morning and the heat from the van during the day keeps everything defrosted.

When I decided in 1994 when I left the army after 3 years part time on the glass to be a full time windie I realised it's a 52 week a year full time job.

Never in all these years had more than the odd day 2 or 3 times a year off work due to weather.

Put the correct clothes on and go out and work.

Expecting-4 at 9am tomorrow but I'll still ne out.

I live on a terraced street, id Need a 100m electric reel, criss cross over the road and to leave a window open on the house overnight? so im afraid its just a case of defrosting it as best i can in the morning for now till we move.

I got out today, it was lovely here, no jacket all day just a thermal long sleeve and jumper ?? Hopefully get out tomorrow and I’m completely up to date after my isolation!
