Are they worth it

I put this 7 seconds of video on Facebook and it totally divided the group to lovers and haters. What are the opinions of everyone on here.

Nightmare, leaves wrap round them and block it much quicker than they block. I do loads of gutters and these don't work. 

We have removed dozens of these things as part timer said just one leaf and they can block downpipes. , just like the headghogs bristle brushes put in gutters we have removed hundreds of meters of them total waist of time and money far better to empty the gutters as required
