What pressure washer?

Not sure I'd use the double headed turbo. Half the power out of each nozzle compared with one.

When you have 250bar and 23 lpm then you can get away with it. Watching guy on YouTube with same size washer and he gets away with it no bother and has to turn it down a bit. He races through the monoblock driveway but doesn't use it for sand stone.

Your going to be more of a target when your doing a job. If you leave it on the van with doors open.

Your right, would need to chain it to the van. They would steal the sugar out of your tea up here. Need to get it insured or its going in the house wi a cover over it.

Bolted a few bits of wood to the floor of my van so that I can keep my PW in it permanently.

Connected a hose to the exhaust outlet so I can put it outside when in use. Let you all know the results Monday night after my first job.

That rail you have it chained to is just ply... Could be ripped out very easy or they could could just unscrew it and it's gone..

No its 4 size 12 screws thru ply and metal frame and I drilled the screws after I did it. My van has deadlocks and the alarm is working now. Getting it insured Monday, £166 for 5 grand worth of tools in or outside the van for a year. Thanks for noticing.

Get some security screws. Can't be unscrewed..

If your 40m away from the machine working they could cut through that chain with an angle grinder load it in it there van and then cut the hose and there gone. You wouldn't even hear it.

Absolutely, no matter how you fix it down they can cut thru it. I only intend to take on jobs that I can see the van. But I have the insurance so I don't want to worry myself. Might build a wooden frame round it as time goes on.

Would have preferred to have took the wheels off and bolt thru the frame and thru the floor but the battery is slung under the frame. Probably build a wooden frame around it or box made of plywood. I m a joiner and have plenty of 18mm ply to use up. I could cut an external hole in the van and fit thru the hoses so I can lock the doors. Maybe a thing in the future behind the reg plate so it cant be seen?

Bare in mind you need air air flow around it to cool it the pump and engine get hot out of the van so in it it will get a lot hotter especially in this weather

First day on the vanguard and after teething problems all came good. Yellow lichen came off easy with the turbo nozzle but the black lichen is difficult. Went thru £25 worth of petrol as I had set the revs to high. 9am till 5pm and I'm back tomorrow to brush in the sand. Turbo nozzle amazing and maybe looking at acquiring a double headed one. Another thing I'm looking at buying is a petrol leaf blower to get rid of dust and leaves before I start. :1f44d:

That’s about normal use of petrol. If your going to get a double headed turbo you need full throttle, I just purchased a 2 meter long turbo lance it’s a gift keeps all the dirt away from you , best of luck with it all , power washing here at a standstill due to the great weather

Just in after delivering a scaffold I sold so I can concentrate on PW. This morning I bought

10 bags of kiln dried sand from merchants to sand the monoblock I cleaned. Emptied the 10 bags on to the driveway and brushed away till all done. I was left to fill 5 bags as I had bought to much. In future I will be spreading one bag at a time till its complete. Learn something new everyday or so they say. :1f633:
