I would just have it simple

window cleaning , it’s all good doing the extra jobs when you don’t have full days cleaning windows , but soon as your full with windows why would you want todo any extras ? Easier just cleaning windows alone and still make same amount of money
No mate i have 360 customers with scope to add another 90ish working mon-thurs.

Friday is my day for addons which pay better than windows or i have 3 day weekends.

Good on you , like I added before on my post , no right or wrong way , what ever makes you tick and make money is the main goal here

Looks better on the van though to have a few extras listed on there. You never know when you might be glad of them if it's quiet on the windows. It also shows you have expertise in and equipment for, other aspects than just window cleaning but which are related to window cleaning. The aim is to stand out from the crowd.

We have recruited a lot of long term regular customers as a follow on from gfs and conservatory washes. Many as a result of seeing the difference made and deciding they now want to keep the house up-together. Also from recommendations and from neighbours seeing the result.

You don't have to accept the add ons all the time. Charge enough to make them well worth while and If you're too busy, say so. It's good to be able to show a customer that you're in demand. Customer psychology is very important in a successful and thriving business.

Mate!
Before you get that done, please please update your email address to a proper one, not a gmail. Google can do it for you, they charge like £4 a month but it means you can have '[email protected]' rather than a @gmail. Honestly mate it'll look 1000% times more professional!

EDIT: You can still use Gmail but just makes it look more pro, so you won't need two different email address for anyone who still uses your gmail.

Some great points and im taking them onboard.

Gonna do away with 'fully insured' & 'free quotes' and replace with

   Gutters - Fascias - Soffits

Solar Panels - Conservatorys
If you get this done, make sure to spell "conservatories" correctly! Nothing more unprofessional looking, than sign writing that's misspelt.

What a week, over 30 new customers added as 6wkly regulars 1 more conny roof booked in.

Yesterday i had 7 yes SEVEN walk ups and yesterday evening booked in 5 newbs from neighbour referals.

Had a right touch, the first wrap they printed was just to small so theyve given me it to wount on a plastic sheet and make a banner out of it.
That might be great if you have a big job you could position it out the front of the property while you clean. Might be best to check with owners first.

Nice. No mistaking who you are, what you do or how to contact you. ?

Did you do the sign you were going to do by the road?
I havnt no, but the sign writters fkd up the first bonnet wrap and made it to small, so had to reprint but realised before the took the back off, eo it was no good so theyve given it to me f.o.c so ill mount it and use that.

Its not got my number on, but is very Bold, and for a freebie beggars cant be choosers ??

Not made any updates for a while, havnt actually got anything to update apart from one thing and its work related but not work related.

17/18 months ago i was working minimum wage and barely surviving, had savings but they were for emergencies.

Last week while sitting at home not working because of rain and feeling sorry for myself, the wife said "Jon youve worked really hard this last year, youve ploughed nearly everything back into the business, why dont you treat yourself". Something ive never really done, the kids and wife get lots of treats and goodies, so last week i did it i treated myself and its all possible because of the advice you guys have fed me and helped me grow excessively quickly.

There she is my new toy ❤

Lovely. Well done! Enjoy but stay safe, kidder. ?

Am very very safe currently as dont have a bloody bike license ???????

Completed my CBT today, got theory Thursday then hopefuly full access tests within cpl of weeks. ??
Many years ago I did a 1 week course (full access in those days no restrictions) and ten bought a 600 Yamaha. I first rode it back home (Kent) from Croydon on a Friday afternoon through rush hr traffic!!! That was a baptism of fire. Took me ages to work out to stop indicators I had to press button ?

First ride home from work on the Monday and it rained!!!!! White lines and man hole covers are megga slippy!!! Came off motorway onto roundabout and wow megga slippy........ Scared the life out of me.... Just made it home, thought I cant do this in wet, then realised had an oil leak spraying right onto rear tyre!!!!!

Just be very very careful mate, it's not your riding that is the issue it's other drivers not seeing you.

Voice of wisdom, right there. Tis mainly other road users that are the problem. That's why I'm very reluctant to ride my 1952 BSA.
