4 weekly or monthly

All my work is done by varying number of weeks I've 2 weekly 4 weekly or 8 weekly.

I was just wondering is that the norm or do some of you work by calender month?

We are 4 or 8 weekly and used to be on the dot with cleans , but now we are always running late , as have more work than we can cope with ,

Monthly as it allows us to fit both commercial and residential work on the same schedule. It also allows us to keep us ahead, as we always have some spare days to catch up.

Met an old windy a few days ago in the timber merchants. He was asking how I catch up when something happens which makes me fall behind. I was telling him it doesn't really happen to me because I only have 2 weeks of solid work and do add-ons the other 2 weeks. They are running one van and now looking for another van because they have too much work and stressing them out.

4 & 8 weekly are the norm for me and have been for over 22 years, if my workload increases quite a bit more which I doubt it will I'd consider monthly but I doubt that'll happen
