I wondered when a hot water thread would start, I'm surprised @Pjj didn't beat you to it 😅

I have been thinking about whether to put one in my tank as I have had it for over a year now so it is most likely out of warranty, @THL4KEL was good enough to give me the hole cutter he used to do his when it came to installing the HD security rollers in my van last year, is yours a 2kw element?

I have hot water but it's not worth cleaning when it's like this one the roads are bad and two customers just complain 3 you look desperate.

Depends were you are, no snow and clear roads for me but I been out in worse,

Why on earth would customers complain and you have the impression that anyone working through the bad weather is desperate going out and earning a living

Minus temperatures are set to continue into mid December. That mindset is great for a one man band with only himself to look after. For people who employ they would lose any and all employees if they couldn't pay them for several weeks. They would go bankrupt if they did pay them not to work.

I respect your decision not to work but I disagree that it looks desperate. I think it looks professional to carry on where possible. I think some would say it looks lazy if you cry off every time it's cold. I imagine a lot of people would question the reliability of that window cleaner.

Does the bin man not turn up because it's cold, or telecoms people or what other tradies stays at home because of a bit off frost..
I see your point but I've been in the situation of going out working in **** weather and had my van smashed into which effected work way longer than a day off for 5 years my premiums went up even though it wasn't my fault. So if your happy to take the risk crack on i will just go put a log on the fire whilst a wait for more replies
