got mine yesterday - first day today - took a couple house to get nack but got to say really impressed does work very well - im like a kid with a new toy - might even decide to traditional some jobs that i usually pole - we mybe not but defo would recommend

That is an unger swiveloc handle

It is fixed at 0° but i also have a 30° one

The 30° is only useful for when you struggle to get your squeegee at the right angle when stretching or things like poling velux windows when you are not directly in front of it as it allows you to get the right angle

The 0° is a multi purpose tool for windows at a distance over conny roofs etc or for poling 1st floor ones with awkward ladder placements avoided

I can tighten it or use it fixed

When loose i can pole most things with a bit of intuition

Pole sideways if needed or fan

The swivel is set too far down the handle to use it like a wag bit still very useful

Thanks for the info

The 30 is good as a normal squeegee also as has a longer handle than the ergotec

Also the 30 has the same quick change channel mechanism as the ergotec bit the 0 needs to be undone with a screwdriver

I am going to swap the bits from the 30 to make it easier to swap the channel

Also saw on utube the americans sell a kit to make it into an ettore quick release

Anyway....day 2 with the liquidators and i have done some of tomorrow's work

It definitely saves time even if as you said you detailed the bottom edge ot would save time

I have very little left on the bottom as i add soap direct to applicator meaning i can make it a lot less runny

O used the 0° the other day where a wag would have been awkward

Half moon window inside with about a foot deep frame as was on a staircase inside a house

I stood on the landing and did it like my vid

Nothing like a fair comparison. For one his wagtail pad is ludicrously wrong on all accounts. Two, he doesn't soap the whole glass up with the second applicator & Three he did indeed need to detail the bottom of every pane which he didn't do- you could see the build up of soap on the bottom. On cold damp days that soap at the bottom would bleed back up the pane. I could whip round that in half his time with my wagtail- modified to minimise detailing & with a correctly sized & shaped pad!!
I totally agree.

What's there belt like paul
Its interesting and different.

As i said they have loops, three loops, two small loops for holding squeegees and a larger loop for a cloth. I havnt used it at work yet but will be using tomorrow so i can have a better idea later in the week.

Im not sure at the moment but its just different to ehat im used to so i got to give it a chance for a few days.

Got a link to it paul??

Did Sophie send it to you or did you buy it?

I am off out to do a big new clean at 11 today so it doesn't interfere with tomorrow's work and i get to play with my channels again

I made a "sick charlie" out of a prototype channel

Sophie just sent it me, i wasnt expecting it or the boab, nice surprise.

I think they are on cleaning spot.

Nice sick charlie, so thats as small as u can go with the clips eh? What does it measure up as dave?

Whats your big job you are doing today dave? Im helping my brother move [delusional]

5 bed townhouse

First clean in and out and all frames

Not too bad but wants it all doing
